Style and Mechanics
Student wrote in sentences, but made some minor mistakes, i.e. spelling or capitalization.
Student wrote in clear sentences.
Student wrote in clear and concise sentences divided into paragraphs, while avoiding clichés, with some poor word choice.
Student wrote brilliantly, concisely, in appropriate sentences, incorporating quotations, honing his/her writer’s voice.
