'Tis the season...
Read the KJV's Gospel of Matthew, Luke and John (Mark is optional). For each Gospel create a detailed narrative (comic, animation, musical, short story, epic poem, etc.). The narrative should reflect the Gospel's subtle differences. Be sure to keep in mind, who is this Christ. Do not depend on common cliches, or the images as established by various Christian sects; instead, read carefully and reflect your understanding of each account of Jesus.
You will be graded on the following characteristics:
- Understanding of the text
- Adherence to the chosen genre (does this read like a short story, or comic, or feel like animation, etc.)
- Mechanics
- Creativity (avoidance of cliches)
It is due no later than our first day back in school: Tuesday January 12th.
Hark the Herald Angels and get reading!
